Researching the American Revolution

Your source for information on the American War of Independence

About

The website is devoted to researchers and students seeking information on the American Revolution.   The site’s pages are topically arranged and accessed via the banner menus. Each web page is organized into four categories – Memoirs and Diaries, Other Primary Sources, Secondary Sources, and pictures and illustrations. Where applicable, there are links to informative websites and primary source information sources. Periodically, blog posts highlight new Revolutionary Ear books, research, and discoveries of major events and people.

Gene is the author of William Hunter – Finding Free Speech – The Son of a British Soldier Who Became an Early American. The book is based upon the only surviving diary written by a child of a British Soldier during the American Revolution. For a sneak peek at the book, view the YouTube video.

Gene’s book is available from Amazon or his publisher, Sunbury Press.
